"alright, ladies!" leo then hollered out and snapped catalina out of her trance-where she already had planned a whole marriage with matt-and she looked over at leo.
"let's go and get this party started!"
matt rolled his eyes at leo's energetic personality while he turned around, grabbing onto the wheel as he started the car and catalina felt herself finding that attractive for whatever reason. she had the feeling this wouldn't be the only thing she found attractive about matt because when they arrived at the party and matt got out of the car, her eyes got stuck on his outfit.
he just wore something simply, but it looked absolutely attractive anyway. matt wore a basic white shirt with a black zip up hoodie over it, only showing a bit off his shirt with a silver chain dangling down from his neck. simple light blue jeans with white air forces but catalina felt herself almost drooling at the sight.
she couldn't shake of the fact that matt was so attractive that she genuinely couldn't stop thinking about him for even a second, she was almost afraid it was a little too obvious.
leo kept dragging her through the crowded house, catalina quite literally clinging onto him in fear of getting lost in all these people. she watched those strangers, dancing, laughing, singing and drinking without a care in the world and she felt her eyes sparkle at the fact she was able to be one of those teenagers now. they only stopped when they reached the kitchen from the house and she gazed over all the alcohol bottles that stood on the counters, all messily lined up and standing next to each other.
"what would you like, ma'am?" leo then said with a cheery grin, leaning with his hip against the kitchen counter while he pointed out the amount of alcohol options.
catalina has never had alcohol before, she had no idea what tastes good and what doesn't, so she just simply answered with, "you choose."
"i'm honored to be your bartender." leo then says with a playful wink which made catalina snort as she watches him starting to search for the right choices. her eyes then went around, getting stuck on matt who has now also entered the kitchen but he didn't really came over to them. instead he went over to some other people, dabbing some of the boys up and starting a conversation as he was handed a drink from one of them.
catalina felt kind of sad as she watched matt going over to some other people instead of joining them, considering that he came with her and leo.

"wait-" catalina widened her eyes as she turns back to put her attention on leo now, "matt goes to our school?"
"you didn't notice?" leo said with surprise while he finished mixing the drinks.
catalina then shook her head, "no. i mean, he never hangs around with us-or rather you."
"like i said, matt is friends with everybody."
her eyes went back onto the brunette boy, who now moved onto the next group of people already. and everybody seemed to love matt because they all had wide smiles on their faces, greeting him properly and actually putting their attention onto him.
she looked back towards leo when he handed her a cup, his mixing seeming to be done. she inspected the substance, smelling the alcohol straight out of it and with a hum from her throat, she asks, "what's in there?"
"you don't wanna know." leo responds with a grimace before he starts full on chugging down his drink. catalina watches impressed how he put the, now, empty cup back down, seeming to be ready for round two.
he then flashes her a grin, "drink up!"
and without even protesting against it, catalina just followed leo's instructions and chugged her drink as well.
this went on for almost the whole night until catalina felt like she was gonna pass out. she decided this would be her limit now as she now sat on some random sofa inside the house, leo's side pressed up against her, a joint hanging loosely between his fingers. other people where surrounding them and leo seemed to be in a deep conversation, while catalina barely managed to hold on besides him. she desperately tried to not make any movement at all besides drinking her water, cause otherwise, she would most definitely throw up.
she had just leaned her head backwards, resting against the couch with her eyes fluttering shut to somehow focus on something that would make her want to throw up less.
but a sudden body slumped down besides her, literally squeezing her now since she was already pressed up against leo. her eyes blinked open and she turned her head slightly sideways to get greeted with matt's face.
catalina felt herself freezing at that, almost wanting to sit up and make a better impression rather than looking like a dead corpse but the thought of throwing up in front of matt if she does that, was even worse. so, she went with looking like a dead corpse.
"you look f*cked." matt snickered out as he grinned over at her, slinging his arm over the arm rest of the couch and behind her head. she felt herself almost smiling like a fool at that action, since it made her feel all funny instead of wanting to throw up.
"i am." catalina replied with a small giggle to which matt's grin widened before he leaned slightly over her to snatch the joint from leo's hand, who flipped matt off for that with a glare.
but matt didn't seem care, flipping leo right back off as he put the joint between his rosy lips, inhaling it before taking it back out to exhale the clouds of smoke. during that, catalina stared at him like she was in awe. and she quite literally was. her eyes got stuck on his lips, scanning them very closely to watch him smoking that joint and she felt weird for finding that extremely hot.
"i can see you staring, you know?"
that made her eyes snap away, feeling her body heat up with embarrassment as she then grew nervous for being caught like that.
matt let out a low chuckle at that-which made catalina gulp at how attractive that sounded-before he started staring at her, deciding to do the same thing like she did. and that made her feel even more nervous, noticing his eyes scanning across her like she was one of those games where you needed to find the mistake in the picture.
he eventually raised his eyes back up to her own ones, a sly grin coming across his face as he just nodded his head to himself before he looked back over at leo who had now turned towards both of them and snatched the joint back from matt.
leo raised his eyebrow slightly as he looked between the two before matt suddenly stood back up and stormed back into the crowd of people, seeming to go to the next group of people already. catalina's eyes followed after his figure like a lovesick middle school girl as she grinned to herself like she just received the best christmas present ever.
her eyes then went over to leo, who still stared at her with a certain look.
"what? he was flirting with me first." catalina defended herself, her words slightly slurred as she innocently stared at leo, who gave a loud snort at her words and shook his head.
he threw his arm over her shoulder, pulling her closer to him for her to have a full view of the people that sat with them on the couch. leo then turned back towards them and started introducing catalina to them after he had noticed that she was in a way better state now-after matt had been there.

and my girl is already head over heels, like she is DROOLING.
anyway this is still all really harmless now but trust me this is just the beginning!! just wait for the angst and the betrayal that will come ☺️
